  3. 3

    Print and test

Download a PNG and scan it with iOS and Android before you laminate or frame it.

Why use this WiFi QR generator

Guests point a camera at a card and join, instead of typing a long password wrong three times.

Standard WIFI: format

Phones recognize the same payload format used by router stickers and hotel welcome cards, so guests join without typing.

Private by design

Your SSID and password never leave the browser. We do not store network credentials on our servers.

Print-ready PNG

Download a high-resolution code with a quiet zone so cameras lock on quickly from a poster or table tent.

Where to put a WiFi QR code

Airbnb and vacation rentals

Leave a framed QR by the router instead of retyping the password for every guest.

Cafes and coworking

Post a guest-network QR at the counter so staff spend less time on WiFi support.

Events and offices

Drop a code on badges or lobby signage for a one-scan join flow.

Frequently asked questions

What WiFi QR format does this use?

The standard WIFI:T:…;S:…;P:…;H:…;; string phones expect (Android and iOS). WPA covers WPA/WPA2/WPA3 personal networks on most routers.

Is my password uploaded?

No. Generation runs entirely in your browser. We do not save your SSID or password.

Can I use this for a hidden network?

Yes. Turn on hidden network if your SSID is not broadcast. Guests still need the exact name you enter.

Why will my phone not connect after scanning?

Double-check SSID spelling, security type, and password. Special characters are escaped automatically, but a typo in the password is the usual culprit. Test-scan before you print.

Does this work for enterprise WPA2-Enterprise?

No. This generator is for personal/pre-shared-key networks (WPA/WEP/nopass). Enterprise login still needs a captive portal or profile.
