What vCard version is used?
vCard 3.0, which has broad support on iOS and Android when saving to Contacts.
Which fields are supported?
First name, last name, organization, job title, mobile phone, email, and website URL. That covers what most contact QR tools offer.
Is my contact information stored?
No. Encoding happens locally in your browser.
Can I add a photo?
Not in this free tool. Photo vCards are possible in the spec but make codes much denser and harder to scan at small sizes.
How is this different from a link QR?
A vCard QR saves contact fields directly. A URL QR opens a webpage. Use vCard when you want a one-tap “Add to contacts” flow.
